Speech
Every facet of our curriculum is designed to stimulate language development. Here is an example of our speech programme in action where children are taught – in a fun way, pace, pitch, volume, articulation, projection, volume control and expression.

Mime and Movement
The mime and movement segment is to help children become better co-ordinated. It involves learning various skills of mime as they act out short stories to music.

Improvisation
This is the main part of the lesson. Children are encouraged to bring props or costumes. There are scripted lines and improvised lines where the children make up their own lines.

Productions
At the end of each year all classes in the Academy begin work on a short scripted production which they put on for their parents and friends to enjoy.

Youth
This is the balanced theatre arts programme covering speech, advanced improvisation, structured small group improvisation, mini-scripts, snippets, character analysis and production techniques.
