| About the Principal |

| I live in Cambridge with my husband and two children and I took the role of Principal of the Waikato region at the beginning of 2007. I have taught at all levels within the primary sector for the last 20 plus years, and I have always had a high interest and involvement in music and the arts, both as a teacher, and through participation in local repertory clubs. I feel strongly about giving children the skills they need to be able to reach their potential now and in the future. I believe that the skills of communication and self worth are an important part of this. I am excited about my new role, working with the children in the Waikato region by helping them to develop life skills through involvement in the acclaimed Helen O'Grady Drama programme. |
