I like doing the plays best

I like doing drama because the teachers and the people are nice. It is fun. I like doing the plays best. My aim is to get a plaque. When I grow up I want to be drama teacher. At the end of the year we do a performance in front of parents. I really like doing that. I also like being noisy and doing dance dramas.

Put movement and speech together

I really like doing mini scripts because you put movement and speech together. My aim is to get a plaque and do drama for the rest of my life. Drama is good for you because when you grow up you may become an important person and have to make speeches.

Drama has helped me in many different ways

Over the past 3 years it has been a great experience being with the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy. It has been lots of fun each week knowing that I can get up on stage and not be nervous. Right now I am in a school drama production and have got a lead role. Drama has helped me in many different ways (e.g. Speaking clearer, dance and movement and learning to think up lines on the spot.) My teachers have been inspirational to me. So I would just like to say thank you to everybody and it is great fun.

Become more confident and outgoing

Helen O’Grady Drama Academy has helped me to become more confident and outgoing. Since starting Helen O’Grady I have come 4^th, 3^rd and 2^nd in school speech competitions. It’s a great place to go and you have heaps of fun but not only does it help you break out of your shell, you make lots of new friends too!!

I enjoy acting with the other boys and girls

I really like going to Helen O’Grady Drama classes. Dressing up and acting out parts is really fun. My highlight was getting my 100 lessons plaque. I enjoy acting with the other boys and girls and our teacher even joins in with us.

When we did speeches at school I got into the finals.

I look forward to drama each week.
